The unidentified teen was arrested around 3:12 a.m. Monday after Greenwich Police investigated a complaint of a suspicious, possibly stolen vehicle on River Road at Post Road in Cos Cob, Greenwich Police said.
Following the stop, officers determined the vehicle was stolen in Stamford and the driver was determined to be a juvenile, said Greenwich Lt. John Slusarz.
During an interview, with a parent present, the 15-year-old admitted to stealing the vehicle three days earlier, but refused to provide additional information, police said.
The teen was charged with first-degree larceny and is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 21.
